THIS WEBSITE describes the kits available from METAL LATHE ACCESSORIES. The
kits are available for those who like to machine their own tooling at a greatly reduced cost, and
who at the same time like to work with quality materials. The castings offered by METAL
LATHE ACCESSORIES are stress relieved where necessary and can be machined with ordinary high speed
tooling. It is the aim to offer castings that will transform into machine tool components
at least as good as those that can be bought commercially, and that with careful workmanship will in
many cases exceed in quality the commercial equivalent.
PRICES AND SHIPPING CHARGES: Prices and approximate shipping weights are listed with each item. Prices are F.O.B. Pine Grove Mills and are subject to change without notice. Please add the appropriate shipping charge for each item ordered. Consult the zone chart below to determine your shipping zone number. USPS: Most kits can be shipped "flat rate" Priority Mail anywhere in the U.S. for $9.80 (insurance $2.15 extra). FedEx shipping is also available. Inquire. Canadian rates are surface parcel post. Whenever possible, when two or more items are ordered to be sent in the same shipment, an effort will be made to pack at least some items together in the same carton to reduce shipping costs. In that case you will be notified of the savings, if any, when the actual shipping cost is known (usually one or two days after shipping). Shipping savings of $3.00 or more will be returned by check regardless; less than that amount will be creditied in the books, unless you request either beforehand or afterward that it be returned by check. If you elect to keep a credit of less than $3.00 in the books against a future order, please mention it when you place the order and deduct it from the amount of payment due. There is no handling charge. Make checks payable to METAL LATHE ACCESSORIES, Box 88, Pine Grove Mills, PA 16868. Orders from outside the United States must be paid by International Money Order. Overseas purchasers should also allow for shipping time via surface parcel post. VISA and MasterCard accepted. Pennsylvania residents please add 6% sales tax. INSURANCE: Items shipped via UPS are insured free up to $100.00 value. DRAWINGS ONLY: Drawings are full size, fully dimensioned, and of professional quality. Machining instructions are included with drawing sets sent separately when they are included with a kit. In addition, the cost of drawings is reimbursable at the rate of $1.00 per sheet when the relevant castings are ordered to be sent afterwards without drawings, the amount reimbursable to be deducted from the cost of the kit. |
